Makalu Base Camp Trek

Makalu Base Camp Trek is one of the most puzzling treks accessible in Nepal, which stands 8481m and is understood as the fifth uppermost mountain peak in the world. This trek allows you to grasp your eyes on some of the most magnificent views of the Himalayan panorama. It is bounded by Makalu Barun National Park and various other beauties.

Our trip begins with a remarkable flight to Tumlingtar from Kathmandu. Later, we take 4 hours’ drive to Num and follow the Barun river valley via numerous high passes such as Shipton La and Keke La. It is believed that this trail never goes flat, either one elevates or trek downwards, which is the reason why this trek is measured as the most tiresome and difficult one. The low altitude part permits you to gaze upon bright Rhododendron Forests along with majestic cliffs, waterfalls and glaciers, whereas, the high altitude permits you to set your eyes upon the greatest mountains like Lhotse, Baruntse, Chamling, the greatest Everest and several more. Apart from the Pros, this trek has many Cons as well, some of them are: It is one of the most difficult ones, it lacks modern facilities, it is not so attempted and the place is full of isolation, et-cetera. But Pros count more in the presence of places like National Park hosting 3000 species of plants, 75 species of mammals, 440 species of birds, including endangered Snow Leopard, Red Panda, Wild Boar, Himalayan Thar, Musk Deer and various more. This trek might be dangerous and difficult but when you step to the prime places of the area; it will not only fascinate you but it will turn out to be the best thing you ever did in your life.

Sketchiest places need good leaders to guide you through rough ways and it will be our Musical Adventure Trekking honor to list you in our itineraries and provide you with different ideas to make this trip more special. So, grant us the opportunity to guide you on this amazing trek and we will make sure that it will be the best times of your life.
