Then trekking route takes you across the villages with Buddhism flavor to Tyangboche. Next day trek resume along Milky River with stunning view of waterfall and experience to walk over the highest suspension bridge of Nepal at confluence of Dudh Koshi River. Above the Namche known as upper section of Solu Khumbu where Himalayas and fauna are their ornaments. Charming colorful twin village Khumjing and Khunde settle on foot of holy Khumbutse, which people believe protector of Khumbu. For your information Lukla flights are notorious for being delayed to and fro Kathmandu by few hours or even cancelled for a day. Due to uncertain climate change that occurs often at Lukla, you are advised to have extra days for your stay in Nepal.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,350 m /4,428 Ft)

On your arrival at Tribhuwan international airport at Kathmandu, capital of Nepal, you will be greeted by airport representatives of Musical Adventure Trekking with fresh garlands. Then transfer to hotel which is located at Thamel, touristic hub in Kathmandu. After check in room walk around Thamel.

Day 02: Cultural Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley

The delicious breakfast will serve in your hotel restaurant from 07:00 am then Musical Adventure Trekking Pvt. Ltd will introduce tour guide at your hotel lobby at 08:30 am. After being introduced with your tour guide at hotel the Kathmandu valley sightseeing will begins. As it cultural sightseeing around Kathmandu valley, our guide will show you historical monuments which are listed in the UNESCO world heritage sites. You will sights Swayambhunath stupa, Bouddhanath stupa, Pashupatinath temple and Kathmandu durbar square.Then walk along the colorful local market to thamel.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla from Kathmandu then trek to Phakding (2,670 m/8,757 Ft & 4 hrs trek)

Wake-up an early morning then will transfer to domestic terminal with your guide, then 35 minute flight will fly on east direction of Kathmandu, the left windows of flight will presents grand view of Ganesh himal, Langtang himalayan range and Gaurishanker. As soon as the donair flight land at Lukla. Then meet with porter and transfer to guesthouse house for breakfast then porter will settle the luggage. From here we onwards trek to further-up throughout the Sherpa villages with crossing suspension bridges to Phakding. Entire trail from Lukla to Phakding is colorful with Buddhist flags and carved of Buddhist words on the rocks.

Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,450 m/11,316 Ft & 6-7hrs trek)

Today entire trail ascending up along the milky river which is confluence of Imja River, Gokyo River, Khumbu River and Thame River. We cross the glacier melt river over the double swinging bridges and enter into the Everest national park. The trail is filled with Sherpa villages namely Banker, Manju, Jorsalle and pass striking water fall couple of places. Before onward to Namche bazaar have lunch at Jorsalle, Jorsalle is last village before heading to Namche. As soon as cross over the double suspension bridge, sturdy-up begins and get first glimpse of Mt. Everest from Chautara (resting places of stone). Then trek resume up through forest to Namche Bazaar. If time allow an evening short walk to National heart quarter to see sunset on Mt. Everest and see national birds of Nepal, Himalayan Munal grazing on potatoes farm.

Day 05: Day hike to Thame village

It is acclimatization day before head on higher than Namche Bazaar. We do day hike to Thame village. Thame village, a climber village laying small farming plateau on bottom of the very old 16 century monastery and mountains. The villages is more known as birth places of 21 times Everest summiteer Apa Sherpa and first Everest ascender Tezning Norgay Sherpa. For round trip of Namche-Thame-Namche will takes 7 hrs with covering 8 km distance.

Day 06: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,875 m/12,710 Ft & 6 hrs trek)

The trail follow footprints of Everest climber with get superb view of Khumbu Himalayas including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and Taboche with blowing Tibetan flags. After Kyanjungma, we drop down to Phungitanga and walk over the suspension bridge, now steeply-up into the rhododendron and birch forest to Tengboche monastery. Tengboche monastery situated on the ridge and offers amazing sunset on the Mount Everest and Ama Dablam. The ancient Buddhist monastery which is branch part of Rongbuk monastery from Tibetan. You will see morning and evening daily ceremony at the Gomba where monks are playing bell, dorje, damaru, dung, tingsha, conch horn and elephant skin drums.

Day 07: Trek from Tengboche monastery to Kunde (3,840 m/12,595 Ft & 5-6 hrs trek)

As usual leave after breakfast from guesthouse, we trek down to Dudh Koshi river then rapidly climb up to Khumjung village where we can see Edmond Hillary foundation running school for local childrens and Yeti skull in the Khumjung monastery. We trek up again for 30 minute to Khunde village at bottom of sacred mount Khumbila. We will see beautiful sunset on the mount Thamserkuk from the guesthouse.

Day 08: Ascend up to Tenzing and Hillary viewpoint then trek down to Manju (2,900 m/9,512 Ft & 5 hrs trek)

Early morning before sunrise, we trek up from kunde to viewpoint called "Tenzing Hillary" which takes 35-45 minutes gentle up. The trail lead from end of Khunde village into the pine and birch forest with gentle ascend up till the viewpoint. The viewpoint is notify with ancient stupas and hanging some Buddhist flags. The ridge presents panoramic view of Khumbu Himalayan range including Taboche, Nuptse, Mount Everest, Lotse, Island peak, Baruntse, Ama Dablam, Kangtega, Thamserkuk, Kusum kanguru, Number, Kwande with massive valley and Sherpa settlements. We spend some time to takes photos then trek down to guesthouse for packing and breakfast. Now we take a descend trail pass the Namche and see last glimpse of Mount Everest then keep walking down pass the Jorsalle and finally reach Manju.

Day 09: Trek from Monjo to Lukla (2,860 m/9,380 Ft & 5 hrs trek)

Last day of trek on the mountain, we slowly trek down on direction of Dudh Koshi river with passing Sherpa villages then after Thado koshi we trek gentle up to Lukla.

Day 10: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu

Wake-up an early morning and first have breakfast at guesthouse then walk to Lukla airport. You will enjoy to see the flight landing to short Lukla airport. Then we board to plane and 35 minute flight to Kathmandu. As soon as arrival at Kathmandu, transfer to hotel, have free time yourself for shopping.

Frequently Asked Questions of Everest View Trek

Everest view trek is shortest and easiest trek in Khumbu region. You will hardly trek more than 8 km in a day while ascending up, longest distance walk 11 km while descend onward from Monju to Lukla. The proposal itinerary is fit for 90 % of travelers. Musical Adventure standard pattern itinerary advice to trek 4-7hrs each day but sometimes it takes more or less according to trekkers walking pace.
This is common question asked by up-going trekker's to descending travelers while meeting on the trail or teashop or guesthouse. Altitude sickness (AMS) symptom can be seen to anybody and any times above the 2500 m no matter well train or well fitness. Unless you used to with high altitude. The main mantra stay away from altitude sickness is drink enough fluid (3 ltr to 5ltr each day) more than perspiring and walk slow while ascending up. After reaching to camp do few hours side trip with climbing few hundreds up than sleeping altitude.
Standard and deluxe accommodation are available with western attached toilet in the room along Everest view trek. The room is cozy, neat and clean with twin sharing bed and one complimentary blanket. One blanket is not enough in cold temperature that's why should have to have -10 ºc sleeping bags with you, do not have your own sleeping bag then Musical adventure trekking will arrange four seasonal sleeping bag during trek. As concerning meals along Everest panoramic view trek, we will give you open menu, you can select any meals from menu like Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Continental and Nepalese cuisine with hot soup. Our experienced guide know lot about the meal, please consult with him about foods along the trek.
Musical Adventure trekking guide (trekking and mountain) are educated, altitude experienced and knowledge about the culture, history and regions of Nepal. Our certified guide have done 45 days special course that are offered by Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
Yes, we will arrange four seasonal sleeping bags and down jacket for during the trek.
You will not be responsible to carry your luggage from Lukla-Namche-Tengboche-Lukla. Porters will carry load between 25kg to 30kg (sharing between two trekker's). You will be responsible to carry your day pack with the essential and personal things such as water, Camera, wind and waterproof jacket, sun lotion extra camera batteries.
Everest panoramic trek is easy trek in Khumbu region but still you need to be fit to do Everest view trek, the trail leading in country side with exploring landscapes, Sherpa culture of Khumbu region. The best way to train yourself for Everest view trek is to strap pack on your back and go hiking as far as you can with your trekking boot. By doing so your feet and joints will become comfortable to the continuous walking you will face on the trek. Also be sure to hit the gym and run at lest a month.
You can obtain Nepal visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. Please bring 2 copies of passport size photos and print out online form from http://online.nepalimmigration.gov.np/tourist-visa.. You might to stay in queue for a while, if you want to stay away from line. You can obtain your Nepal visa from your home as well. Just contact to nearby Nepal embassy around your home town. Everest view trek is comfort trek with western toilet and ascend steep up to 4000 m. Musical Adventure Trekking conduct special tour and trek for family and kids. The kids should be old enough to recognize, understand and able to communicate early sign of altitude sickness. Please don't bring the child, if child are not understand and not able to communicate. Because of kids are traveling up to 4000 m and have to sleep at height of 3,870 m above the sea level.
Everest panoramic view trek physically begins as soon as small flight landed at Lukla. The grit up and down trail lead into the Sherpa villages with magnificent green scenery and rugged mountains. Many trekker's are worried that the camera and phone batteries down over the trekking period then cannot able to take photos and miss the beautiful Mother Nature. There are hydroelectricity and solar power on along the EBC trek with payable charging facilities. There is electricity at Phakding, Namche, Tengboche. The guesthouse/lodge have power socket and adopter but much better to have your own 2 pin socket. You can safe your device batteries from cold temperature with keeping in warm places. Be smarter to keep batteries inside the sleeping bag in the night and jacket pocket while hiking.
