Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,429ft)

On arrival Trivhuvan International airport receiving by Musical Adventure Trekking airport representative then private drive to Hotel Yak & Yeti in Kathmandu. First complete room check in process then stroll around colorful street of Thamel. Thamel is tourist hub in Kathmandu where book store, handicraft, pub, bar and multiple international restaurant are available. Then evening trip orientation with your guide at hotel lobby or Musical Adventure Trekking office.

Day 02: Guided tour around Kathmandu

The cultural and heritage day tour starts after delightful breakfast at Yak & Yeti Hotel Sunrise restraint. The guide brief you about four monuments going to visit in Kathmandu valley which also listed in UNESCO world heritage sites in cultural and heritage category. A day-tour begins from hotel with private drive on A/C car and stop at Pashupatinath temple, largest Hindu temple in Nepal with fourth face of Lord Shiva also sights traditional cremate on bank of Bagmati River then take photos with ascetic man. So largest Buddhist stupa is not far from Pashupatinath, we have an hours to explore the "little Lhasa". We find mostly Buddhist flavor in Boudhanath stupa, the huge white stupa in the attraction of Boudha with swing Buddhist flag. Also several monasteries occupied an area and probably enjoy to see some monks festival in the Gompa. Next, drive resume to Swayambhunath (self-arisen) stupa (Monkey temple) set midst of valley atop a hill with spectacular view of Kathmandu valley with colorful houses. Day 03: Fly to Pokhara (827 m) and half day tour in Pokhara

After breakfast transferring to domestic airport and escort by guide then 20 minute flight to Pokhara offerings mountain panorama view with meandering and dotted landscapes. On arrival Pokhara airport, shifting to Hotel Temple Tree, Lake side. We proceed for Pokhara sightseeing and visiting Devi's fall, Tibetan refugee camp, Gupteshwore cave, White peace pagoda stupa and boating on Phewa Lake.

Day 04: Drive to Melbot then trek to Dhampus (1,560m/5,116ft & 4 hours)

Day 05: Trek from Dhampus to Majhgaon (1,620m/5,310ft & 5 hours)

From any bedroom of Basanta Lodge offers superb mountain view including glorious sunrise on Fishtail and Annapurna II. We follow classical Annapurna base camp trekking trail to Pothana thru dense rhododendron forest and listen bird singing. We check our trekking permits (TIMS card and ACAP) then continues trek again into the forest and then stop at Patle khet and have breath stop view of meandering Modi Khola with huge valley and towering snow-capped peaks. Majhgaon is beautiful cluster village of Gurung people and can see their life style.

Day 06: Trek from Majgaun to Ghandrunk (1,990m/6,396ft & 5 hours)

The trek begins after delicious and organic breakfast at Gurung Lodge with admiring mourning scenery of surrounding atmosphere. As trek departure walking down into a cluster village and farming terrace till on bank of Modi River. The beautiful walk on rice field with terrain make your trek enjoyable. Upon cross suspension bridge steeply ascend up begins and then continues with passing villages and rice field with overwhelmed view of Majgaon and Himalayas to Ghandrunk. Upon arrival at lodge have lunch then after rest while cultural excursion into the Ghandrunk village, a largest Gurung village and also beginnings of Gurkha regiments.

Day 07: Trek from Ghandrunk to Birethanti (1080m/3560ft & 4 hours)

We follow the trail on east of Ghandrunk village with walking down on stone paved trail. The trail lead through villages of mix ethnic group with enjoying to have seduced view of yellow green rice field and soaring Fishtail with Annapurna south. We have steeply down trail till Syauli Bazaar then trek along the Modi River to Sanctuary Lodge, Birrethanti.

Day 08: Drive from Birethanti to Sarankot (1,620m/5313ft & 2 hours)

It is 2 hours' drive from Birethanti to Sarankot, the first an hour drive in on dusty off the road then drive continues on concrete motorway to Sarankot. Sarankot is one of the spectacular viewpoint in Nepal and always offer glorious sunrise and sunset on the Annapurna Himalayan range. After noon enjoying to see paragliding, flying fox from Sarankot to down town.

Day 09: Drive from Sarankot to Bandipur (1,000m/3,280ft & 3 hours)

From Sanrakot only 3 hours' drive to Bandipur. Bandipur, set on atop the hill has picturesque Newari village, it was medieval trading town from India-Nepal-Tibet. Bandipur is mainly inhabitants of Newari group and cobble stone path through the central town is such beautiful. Tourist can sights life-style of the local, lush-green valley with snaking Marshyndi river also towering mountains including Manslu, Annapurna and Ganesh Himal.

Day 10: Drive from Bandipur to Kathmandu (1350m/4424ft & 5 hours)

While the drive to Kathmandu interesting to see local daily activities like crossing flying-fox, rafting on Trishuli River. Upon arrival, Kathmandu room check then take a leisure time.

For ensuring you our trekking guide is educated, experienced and well knowledge about the culture, history, religions and geography of Nepal. The guide has to attend certificate course that is offered by Ministry of culture, tourism and civil aviation. To complete that course it takes 50 days then should given a written and speaking example. After passing from all, then government gives them licensed to work as guide.
Friendly speaking, it depend on season, if you do trek in winter (December- January-February) in Nepal at that time you need a down jackets. Beside winter any warm jacket like jumper, sweaters and any other warm cloth will work it. This is a lower section of Annapurna trek and maximum height of trek is 2,500 mtrs. Regarding to sleeping bag, you do not need it. There is a plenty of blanket and quilt in the room.
You will not be responsible to carry your luggage from Pokhara-Ghandrunk-Sarankot because porters are included in our package programs. Standard weight of luggage for porter is between 25kg to 30kg (sharing between two trekker's). You will be responsible to carry your day pack with necessary & personal things like water, Camera, wind & waterproof jacket, sun lotion extra camera batteries.
