Yala Peak Climbing

Yala peak (5,520 m/18,110 Ft), easiest trekking peak among other trekking peak in Nepal. It is lies north of Kathmandu valley at midst of Langtang Himalayan range just right above the Kyanjin Gompa.

As long as trekker’s are physically fit that can climb Yela peak with out any climbing experiences with using normal climbing equipment’s including crampons, ice axe, rope and climbing boots. You will get fine striking panoramic view of Langtang Himalaya from summits of Yala peak including Shishapangma (8,045 m) Gangcehenpo (6,387), Morimoto (6,150 m) Dorje Lakpa(6,966 m), Langtang Lirun (7,234 m), Langtang Ri(7,205 m), Changbu (6,781 m) and numerous other peaks.

Yala peak climbing and Langtang valley trekking will begins after heritage sites around Kathmandu valley. 7hrs scenic drive will presents countryside culture of Nepal with northern Himalayan range. Then actual trek will continuous along Langtang River into the ravine and forest of rhododendron, bamboo shrubs, fir and pine on foot of boulder rock formations, passing through tamang and Sherpa villages with Tibetan cultural flavor. Often passing swinging suspension bridge, Himalayan monastery, gopma, chorten and pretties villages with unique tamang architecture. The greeneries leave behind from Langtang village, above Langtang village is mostly wilderness and utilize for yak husbandry and for Himalayan herbs. You will spends overnight at lodge/guesthouse with hot shower till kyanjin gompa then for 1 or 2 nights accommodation will be at tented camp with matrix, sleeping bag and hygienic meal will be prepared by our experience camping trek cook.

After summited Yala peak, trek retrace with wonderful climbing experience to Kathmandu then fly back to home.

Syabrubeshi to Lama hotel (2,200 m/7,217 Ft & 5-6 trek)
Day 05:
Lama hotel to Langtang village (3,570 m/11,712 Ft & 5-6hrs trek)

Langtang village to Kyanjing gompa (3,740 m/12,270 Ft & 4-5hrs trek)

Day 01 Arrival at Kathmandu (1,370 m/4,494 Ft)

Our official representative will be receiving you from Tribhuwan International airport; s/he will display your name on signboard at arrival gate then transfer to hotel.

Day 02 Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley.

Your guided tour will start after breakfast at hotel around 9 am, our professional guide will take you Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath Stupa, Kathmandu durbar square and Swayambhunath stupa then at evening walk around local market at Ason.

Day 03 Kathmandu to Sybrubeshi (1,530 m/5,019 Ft & 7hrs drive)

Your scenic drive starts around 7 am from Machhapokhari Kathmandu that offers more country side of Nepal like river, villages, greeneries, commercial town, valley and Himalayan range with it crest above the hill.

We will cross Trishuli River couple of time before reaching Syabrubeshi after check in room; we will go to see Chilime Hydropwer.

Day 04 Syabrubeshi to Lama Hotel (2,200 m/7,217 Ft & 5-6hrs trek)

First trail descend to river, the river follow down from Tibet, then we will cross suspension bridge often while trek continuing to Lama Hotel. Trek route often taking into the forest, shrub and passing teashops, local restaurant at Pairo, Bamboo, Rimche then finally reach at Lama hotel.

While trek in the enchanting rhododendron forest often see multi-color birds, monkey, and wild beehive.

Day 05 Lama hotel to Munde (3,5 70 m/11,712 Ft & 5-6hrs trek)

The trek route follows into the dense forest and boulder formation of rock with passing teashop and local restaurant at Gumanechok, Ghoda Tabela exactly it means the Horse Stable, Thyangsep then finally reach foot of ravine valley. Langtang village is washed out by April earthquake, now survival is running guesthouse and lodge at the village. You will see beautiful Himalayan range from here.

Day 06 Munde to Kyanjin Gompa (3,740 m/12,270 Ft & 4-5hrs trek)

You will see amazing sunrise on mountain in early morning then trail leads upper Lagntang, it called Mende the village is skip from 2015 April earthquake. You will walk aside of longest mani wall (praying stones) of Langtang region. Level yak grazing will offers magnificent view of Langtang Himalayan range and the trail is colorful with Buddhist flags, sculpture rock and Stupa. It is 3-4hrs easy treks from Langtang village to Kyanjing gomap after lunch you will visit Yala Cheese factory and Kyanjing gompa. Kyanjing gompa is last village of Langtang valley offers stunning sunset on mountains.

Day 07 Kyanjin Gompa exploration day

Today is an acclimatization day of trek, we sturdy ascend up from village You can visit the monastery and cheese factory then take a walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin Ri (4350meters) which is highest point of this trek, directly behind the village, for breath-taking panorama of the Langtang peaks.

Day 08 Kyanjin to Yala peak Base camp (4,400 m/14,435 Ft & 6hrs trek 6 hours)

First trail goes gentle down to stream then ascending up on yak pasture and rocky glacier trail to Yala Base Camp with viewing of Naya Kang Ganchenpo, Tserko Ri, Yala peak and numerous others peaks.

Day 09 Summit Yala Peak (5,520 m/18,110 Ft & 8hrs) then back to Kyangjin Gompa 

Yala peak is one of the easy trekking peaks among other trekking peak in Nepal. We start earl morning from our tented camp then ascend up on paved trail, rocky trail and glacier to summit of Yala Peak. From summits of Yala offers stunning view of Shishapangma , Dorje Lakpa, Ganchhenpo, Tserko Ri, Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lhakpa, Naya Kang and some other snow capped peaks.

Day 10 Spare Day

We are taking one extra day for Yala peak, incase the due to the bad weather we can not continuous first day then onward to Yala Peak on second day.

Day 11 Kyanjin Gomba to Lama Hotel (2,200 m/7,217 Ft & 6hrs trek)

After breakfast trek descend on yak pasture with viewing Himalayas and passing Langtang village, Godatabela, Gumanchowk and finally arrive at Lama hotel.

Day 12 Lama hotel to Sybrubehsi 5hrs trek

first trek descend to Rimche then take alternative trail to Syabrubeshi via upper trail passing Sherpa goan, Khanjing and then finally reach at Syabrubeshi. Upper trail offers more stunning scenery of valley, village and himal.

Day 13 Syabrubeshi to Kathmandu 7hrs bus

After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu from Sybrubeshi, 7hrs scenic drive will offers scenery of countryside of Nepal.

The trip ends, our Airport Representative will drop you to the Kathmandu International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal.
