Pisang Peak Climbing

6,091-m/19,984 Ft heights Pisang peak lying above the beautiful pisang village in Annapurna conservation area, Manang Nepal. Adventurous Pisang peak is well-known trekking peak in Nepal, any physically fitness traveler can ascend by using complete ordinary climbing gear with lead by Sherpa climbing guide.

The sloppy pisang peak first ascent in 1955 by German and Nepalese team since that it became measure trekking peak in Nepal. It is bit tough to reach summit of the peak with using compact climbing gears but worth to reach at ridge, the summit presents panoramic view of Himalayas with deep Marhsyandi valley including Annapurna IV (7,525 m), Annapurna III (7,555 m), Gangapurna (7,455 m), Lamjung Himal (6,983 m), Annapurna II (7,937 m), Tilicho Peak (7,134 m), Manaslu (8,163 m). The trip will begin with following classical Annapurna circuit trek trail, along the Marshyandi River with exploring astounding view of greeneries, culture, and impressive waterfall with rock formations. After leaving Chame, inspiring snow-peak appears and entering at Buddhist territory at Pisang. Normally we arrange 2 or 3 nights tented camp at Pisang peak base camp and high camp before summit of Pisang peak. The thrilling Pisang peak climbing takes more or less then 8/9hrs from high camp to apex with climbing on ice, rock and glacier to achieve the goal. Then trail onward beautiful Manang valley and beyond it to highest trekking pass Thorong La Pass. Wider Kaligandi valley with Mustang plateau gives you different experience than Manang with cultural and natural. With scenic drive or flight get back to commercial town Pokhara and Kathmandu.
