Time Schedule for Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour

05:30 AM We receiving you from your hotel then 20 minute drive to domestic terminal of Tribhuvan international airport. Upon arrival at domestic terminal of airport process for airport check in after that 10 minute drive to Heli pad east of the airstrip.

06:30 AM An adventure Everest experience helicopter journey begins, flight take-off and it flies over dense and smoky Kathmandu valley then see magnificent landscapes, curving river with scattered village on the hill. It takes 45 minutes to reach Lukla, the flight will make a short stop at Lukla for photos of world adventurous airport and refueling.

07:45 AM Flight continuous further-up above Namche Bazaar and heli make another stop very close to Everest View Hotel and get the breathless view of surrounding Khumbu Himalayas including Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Taboche, Thamserku with unique Tengboche monastery. You will have delicious authentic Himalayan breakfast at Everest view hotel; the classical 5-star hotel in the Khumbu which was built in 1971 AD.

08:30 AM As soon as eaten breakfast Everest base camp helicopter journey continuous towards on Gokyo valley and see turquoises Gokyo Lake, Ngozumpa glacier, Gokyo Ri, then flies on the side of the Lobuche East and then eventually to Everest Base Camp. The flight goes right over the classical Everest Base Camp and make a quick stop at Kala Patthar (not at 5,650 m but slightly lower at an altitude of 5,300 meters) to take photos of Mount Everest, Everest Base Camp along with Khumbu glacier and several other Himalayas.

09:30 AM Take-off flight from Kalapatthar right over the Khumbu glacier passing Thukla, Periche, Tengboche monastery and come back to Syangboche and another stop at Lukla for refill fuel.

We suggest you take warm cloth with you for Mount Everest flight. The Everest helicopter tour beginning from Kathmandu (1350 m) then first stop at Lukla (2820 m) which is bit cold than Kathmandu, probably need some light jacket. Again stopping at Everest view hotel (3870 m) and Kalapatthar (5300 m). Then definitely need down jacket (insulated soft and warm feather from duck or geese) also wool thermal for upper and lower body, warm hat and gloves.
