Day 01: Arrival at Lhasa (3,670 m/12,040 Ft) then 2hrs drive to Lhasa

Upon your arrive at Gonggar Airport near to Lhasa. Our Tibetan guide will greed you then 2 hours drive to Lhasa. While driving to Lhasa our Tibetan guide will explain about Tibet and Tibetan Culture. After check hotel take a rest or guide will take you around town.

Day 02: Sightseeing around Lhasa

The high altitude city is residence of Tibetan people and Chinese business hub. The city has interesting Buddhist monuments and few of them granted in UNESCO world heritage sited.

Potala Palace: Potala Palace is one of the most wonder of the earth and it is located on the rock atop of Lhasa. It was build in 7th century by Songtsen Gampo for concentration then later 5th Dalai Lama renovated it and make residence for him self and since then to 14th Dalai stayed in Potala palace. Potala palace was listed in UNESCO heritage site in 1994 then it opens for visitor. The huge palace has much section where we can visit different chapel, gallery, and tomb of few Dalai Lama and office of 14th Dalai Lama.You will get great view of Lhasa city and surrounded hills.

Jokhang Temple: Jokhang temple lies near to Potala Palace and Barkhor Street and it was constructed in in reign of Songtsan Gompa. This is a most important holy place for Buddhist; you will see Nepalese and India architecture in same complex. Thousand of Buddhist devotees doing daily praying from morning to evening with praying wheel and prostrations in front of temple. During the culture uprising in Tibet the monastery was destroyed then rebuild it early 1990 AD then granted world heritage site in 1994 AD.

Day 03: Lhasa Sightseeing

After breakfast we will visit Drepung monastery and Sera Monastery

Drepung monastery: One of the largest Gelukpa sect monastery lies 5 km far from Lhasa, some times nearly 10,000 monks stayed here for practicing Buddhism. Jamyang Choge constructed in 1416 AD and several times it was renovated. The young monk comes to study Buddhism from across the country and different hostel for each ethnic group.

Sera Monastery: Sera monastery a wild rose is based at Tatipu hill on north of Lhasa and it is famous monasteries in the town along with Garden monastery and Drepung monastery. The monastery was build in 1419 AD in period of Ming Dynasty. The monastery is very famous for debates ceremony in afternoon. Some part of monastery was destroyed while Cultural Revolution in 1950 AD and it is rebuild around 1990 AD then open for visitors.

Day 04: Namtso Lake (4,718 m/14/479 Ft)

Namtso Lake (4,718 m) is second largest Lake in Tibetan plateau; the turquoise color lake lies at bottom of Himalayan range. You will have 4hrs round trip drive fro and to Namtso Lake; the scenic drive will go over the (5,110 m/16,765 Ft) with great view of mountain desert.

Day 05: Lhasa to Kathmandu (1,370 m/4,494 Ft & 1:20hrs flight)

Nearly 2hrs drive from Lhasa city to airport then after completing immigration formalities that1hrs Himalayan flights gives you best Himalayan view including Mt. Everest, Cho Oyu, Makalu, Nuptse with number of other snow capped peaks. Upon arrival at Tribhuwan International airport, our official representatives will meet you at arrival gate with your name on play cards. Then 25 minutes drive from airport to thamel, heart of Kathmandu. An afternoon walking around the Thamel Street, mostly touristic area with restaurant, hotel, souvenir and gift shops.

Day 06: Kathmandu valley sightseeing

Kathmandu valley is capital of Nepal, the valley was probably found in 300 BCE and valley is very rich in cultural and architecture since then to now. The valley decorated with medieval malla architecture, Buddhist cultural & oldest Hindu religious. Our guided tour will take different places in valley and some of them are granted in UNESCO world heritage sites. Tour will starts around 9 am from your hotel; drive to Pashupatinath temple, a holiest Hindu temple where cremate death along the holy Bagmati River, Boudhanath stupa, a largest Buddhist stupa in the valley, Kathmandu Durbar Square, a home of living goddess Kumari and Swayambhunath stupa, the viewpoint of Kathmandu valley with blended of Hinduism and Buddhist.

Day 07: Bhaktapur and Patan Sightseeing

Bhaktapur is oldest town of Nepal is literally translates from Bhadgaon and it has other name called Khwapa. The town has majority of newari ethnic groups with filled up of newari architecture. The entire complexes called Bhaktapur Durbar Square where you will explore Golden gate, Lion’s gate, Nyatapola temple, Bhairabnath temple, Dattatraya temple, Peacock windows, Mini Pashupati temple, Batsala temple, Jaya Prakash Malla statue, Pottery square, Garuda.

Patan Durbar Square is smallest square in the valley with gorgeous pagoda and shikhara style architecture. The square is situated 7 km far from Kathmandu across the Bagmati River and granted in UNESCO world heritage sites in 1979 AD. The square was former royal palace for Malla dynasty. You will sightsee Patan Museum, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, Golden Window, Mahabouddha Temple, Golden Temple and Krishna Temple is the major attraction of Patan Durbar Square.

Day 08: Kathamndu to Paro (2,340 m/7,677 Ft & 1:20 minute flight then 1:50 minute drive to Thimpu

We will transfer to Tribhuwan International airport 3 hours before your flight. Then 1:20 minute flight will fly over the Himalayan range. As soon as you arrive at Paro airport, our local Bhutanese guide will receive you after that drive to Thimpu with culture and nature excursions.

Day 09: Thimphu - Punakha valley Excursion - Thimphu (150 km &7hrs drive)

Today you will have unparalleled view of landscapes, mountains and Buddhist monuments. Your journey will starts from hotel after breakfast, then after while drive, stop at Dochu La passes (3,200 m/10,498 Ft) then walk around surpasses 108 stupa and enjoyed to see striking Himalayan view.

Lush and green Punakha valley is good fertilizer and great view of landscapes. You will visit beautiful Punakha monastery at midst of valley and fresh pristine River follows aside the monastery. Then you will have authentic Bhutanese meal around here then drive back to Thimphu.

Day 10: Thimphu to Paro Tour

Today is one more thrilling day in the tour; you will be eyewitness to see stirring Takstang Monastery it was build in 1692, Bhutanese believe Buddhist teacher guru Padmasabhava did three years special meditation while preaching Buddhism in Himalayan countries. A holy Tiger Nest monastery lies on the cliff, it might be tough to reach there with couple of hours up and down stair walking. The view, which will see from Takstang Monstery, is exceptional with green valley trek down to car park and drive continuous to Thimphu.

Visa Notes:

Bhutan visa is pre-process by us we need to have your passport copy and one photograph by scan. Tibet visa and Tibet travel permit also pre process by us. Since you entering Tibet from Chengdu, you should get China visa from your country.

Nepal visa can obtain upon your arrival at the airport. U$D 25 for 15 days.
